Compare Welcome Bonus And Fees

The Wells Fargo Active Cash signup bonus sees you getting a cash bonus of $200 cash rewards bonus when you spend $500 in purchases in the first 3 months. For the Reflect card, you will be able to get 0% intro APR for 21 months on purchases and balance transfers, then 18.24% to 29.99% variable APR.

Neither of these cards has an annual fee, with both charging a 3% foreign transaction fee. There is 0% intro APR for 15 months on purchases and qualifying balance transfers with the Wells Fargo Active Cash ( then 20.24% to 29.99% variable APR), shorter compared to the Reflect card. There are no perfect financial products, so it is important to be aware of the potential drawbacks of a new credit card before you sign up.

Here we’ll highlight some of the possible negatives to help you make an informed decision.

Wells Fargo Active Cash℠

Wells Fargo active cash card

You will get 2% cashback across the board, with no higher cashback rates being available.

Although this is a common factor between the two cards, Citi does allow its customers to convert rewards to Thank You Points from $1. So, if you are struggling to reach that $25 balance, it can be frustrating.

Wells Fargo Reflect℠ Card

Wells Fargo ReflectSM Card (1)

This card option does not currently provide any out and out cashback rewards.

Unlike the Active cash card, this card doesn't offer a welcome bonus to new cardholders.

Compare Redemption Options

The Wells Fargo Active Cash card sees you earning 2% on every single purchase that you make, with no cap in place. You are able to redeem the rewards in numerous ways. This includes as statement credit, as cash, withdrawn at an ATM or redeemed as a gift card.

You can also use the rewards when paying through PayPal at online checkout. The Reflect card currently has no cashback rewards on offer.

Credit Card Reviews Methodology

In order to determine the best possible credit cards, we look at things like fees, interest rates and rewards. We do this with companies that are associated with us as partners as well as other offerings. From there, we make a decision about what the best card is related to different categories and needs. We focus on interest rate cost & fees, especially the cost of carrying a balance, rewards – cards accumulate rewards in different currencies—points, miles, cash back—and their values vary widely usability – cards that accept a wide range of credit profiles and offer simple solutions for things like checking your credit score or contacting. We also consider customer reviews.

We look at cards related to good or excellent credit ratings that will then provide a range of different benefits and improvements for someone who has these scores. We also look at low fees when it comes to those who have lower credit scores.
