What Is TSA PreCheck?

TSA precheck is a Trusted Traveler program created in 2013 and administered by the United States Transportation Security Administration.

This process is an expedited screening program that completes the risk assessments of passengers before they arrive at an airport checkpoint. Not only does this allow for a better traveling experience, but it also enhances security at the airport.

Can You Add TSA PreCheck After Booking?

TSA PreCheck may be added after a flight is booked by editing each flight to add the PreCheck number before check-in. If you are unsure how to do this, you could also call the airline's customer service number to have your Known Traveler Number added to your ticket.

To find the airline's phone number, search the airline on Google along with the customer service number.

It is important to enter your full name, date of birth, and the KTN number exactly as you provided during enrollment to ensure it is added to your travel reservation.
